i bet the island could do up a RIPPIN' x-ball team. prolly good enuf to b a threat. i know notorious digzit. some of the supernaturals do 2. i hate it personally, but perhaps if i was on a good x-ball team and we trained, that'd b different.

With the CXBL and MXL franchises set - there will not be a Island entry into the league at this time.
Island players could try out for those two Tsawwassen rosters and I highly recommend it.

Who's going to pay for what? Ask the person co-ordinating the tryouts when you're on the field.
(Plan on it being your bill as you get the most out of it anyways)

Stay tuned for some Thunder tryouts, I'll try to learn what the Gridlock team is doing for their roster and let the island boys know.

It's always good to get your feet wet in some xball.

Without heavy sponsorship I don't see the island being able to put a team together, the paint for just practicing alone, nevermind the 20 cases you shoot each match, will be too much for most of what I think island ballers are willing to put out.

Two of my sons (Nick and Bruce) are going to be playing with Gridlock this season.

I believe they are holding another practice at TPG on Jan 31.

That's also when the remainder of the Thunder guys will be assembling at TPG, if you want a good day of ball I recomend hopping on that ferry then.

It's going to be nice to have two Xball teams playing out of TPG again. Now lets just hope for some decent weather for practice!

gridlock is still doing tryouts and building a team at the moment we have 8 fully commite dplayers who have paid and we still have room for 7 more if intersted start showing up to the practices. as well we are doing a team trip to PAG in lat feb to scrim with other teams they will be shutting down PAG for the weekend for out personal use.

Not exactly shutting down, but PAG has a special MXL day on Sundays that Epic and Reign book and play on. I know they are looking forward to playing you guys. Remember that PAG indoor is open year around, but the outdoor (the field in behind PAG) is only open weather permitting, which in Edmonton in Feb is not likely to be permitting.

The indoor is about 10 feet shy of being the regulation width - shouldn't affect things too badly at all.
