Yeah, as Ripper was saying, it looks like you've somehow wound up with abbreviated versions of the URL (the "..." in the middle), we need the full URL or our browsers can't find the pictures you're trying to point us to. Best bet is just to copy and paste it from your browsers address bar into the message.

I take it you were mucking with your velocity adjustment and unscrewed it all the way? It's supposed to be a snug fit so that it doesn't come loose on you once you get your velocity set right. If you've been mucking with the plastic set screw in the side of the body you may have put the screw in too deep, if you haven't been mucking with it you just have to get things lined up correctly and turn it in slow and steady as the plastic set screw is INTENDED to provide resistance.
If you haven't already don't mess with that little plastic screw though, when it's first set up and the inner piece is threaded in the threads actually cut grooves into the plastic of the set screw (it's deliberate) and if you change the position of the set screw you'll just wind up shredding it and it won't hold well, if at all, after that. If you've wrecked or lost it you'll need to get a new one. I keep a few around here because they're small and get lost/wear out occasonally. I got mine from Noodle at Rising Sun Paintball

ya it turns out the tpc is stripped. I dont know if you were at tnt on the 3rd but i was the kid there with the pruple phantom and i couldnt get it up past 250 fps so i guess i unscrewed it to fare. if you know were i could get one fast that would be great. I have already e mailed noodle but i think hes going out of the country and im not sure if he will be able to get me one before he leaves and i will be going to a friends birthday at tnt so i want to use my phantom and if i could get that part it would be great. I do have a psring kit though would i be able to play with out a tpc and use the spring kit to change velocity?

You can play with a harder main spring to see if it will go up,
Were you using Co2? because its cold out co2 wont build as much pressure as it will when it is 25 degrees in the summer.

Is it the TPC that is stripped, or the little nylon setscrew ? If the TPC itself is stripped and you can't get it back into the bolt, then you can't use that Phantom until you get a new one (or borrow someone else's bolt). The main spring pushes against the TPC so without it in there it'll just slide forward into the bolt instead of compressing properly.
Most likely the TPC front thread is mashed from backing the adjuster too far out and playing with it like that. It forces the first thread to mash up against the bolt threads until they bend over and mushroom. It's hard to tell from the webcam pic, but it doesn't look really severe, which means the bolt is probably fine. The TPC could be repaired by a competent machinist with a lathe. Not sure who you'll find to do that for you in Victoria on a short deadline though, but folks are around.
Hope that helps.

Thanks ya that's what happend the tpc it self stripped And is there anyone other than noodle that might have this or be able to fix it? As long as it doesn't cost more than 50 bucks I will do anything to get it fixed fast.

You know, I seem to remember having a similar problem and solving it (at least until the replacement parts arrived) by threading it in from the other end and "chasing" the threds back towards the damaged ones ... lots of lube and care to do it right ... maybe I just got lucky and it worked.
I'm pretty sure you used my air tank for one game and you thought it shot better but forgot to chrono. I've had cold days where I couldn't get about 250 with my phantom on my 3.5oz tank then swapped to the 13ci tank and wham ... 310fps.
Good luck,
Alex
