Hello everyone. As already sent to the game generals and tank commanders, please read and understand the tank rules below. Safety first as always, and refs with the tanks have ultimate authority as to whether they are live, immobile, or dead. Immobile tanks cannot move but can deploy troops and use their main gun. If a tank is killed, all players in it are also dead and must return to the respawn with the tank.
HIT RULES:
As at the Cuban Crisis, a ref will be assigned to each tank and will stay with it all day. The ref has the ultimate say in whether or not the tank is eliminated (as well as the players fate inside the tank).
Matilda (red team tank) can be only be eliminated by players hitting 3 of 4 kill zones on her with regular paint. There is no rocket launcher on the blue team that I am aware of that can eliminate Matilda.
The WarDogz APC (blue teams tank) is killed with 3 hits from Zacks nerf rocket launcher anywhere. Note that the rocket launcher does not have any paint in the rocket, and so the referee will keep track of the hits on the Wardogz APC. If Zack should hit a kill zone with a nerf rocket, the tank is instantly dead as are all players. If regular players should hit 3 kill zones on the APC, or Zack should hit the APC twice, the tank is immobilized. 4 kill zones and the APC is dead. Regular kill zones and rocket hits cannot be combined, it is simply too much to keep track of.
GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES:
Max Speed: Limited to 5 mph or a fast walking speed, whichever is slower. No exceptions.
ASTM approved paintball goggle system: Mandatory. Must be worn at all times by all players inside the vehicle. No exceptions.
Team Indicator: The vehicle must be readily identifiable as to which side or team it is on. Tape the two opposite corners of the tank with 24 inches of team arm band tape so that at least 12 inches of tape can be seen from all sides.
Vehicles can also: Transport people and props, destroy structures and bunkers, or act as a stationary bunker.
Once a motorized vehicle/Paintball Assault Vehicle (PAV) has been eliminated, it must proceed to the respawn point and wait for ten minutes before restarting. The referee will adjudicate this.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO PLAYERS: There is a safety space of 15 FOOT distance around all tanks. If a tank or a live player intentionally comes within 15 feet of each other, the aggressor(s) will be called eliminated. Furthermore, tanks and / or players who intentionally violate this 15-foot boundary are subject to ejection from the event. This is a serious safety issue. Tanks may not encroach within 15 feet of a live player behind a bunker (i.e. – do not chase players around - or from - their cover). Players may not hide and use this rule to eliminate a tank.
Playing Tip: There is no reason for any player – live or dead – to be within 15 feet of a live tank!
Also, there will be secret missions running with an anti tank rifle that can kill either tank with a single aimed round. This will be explained on game day to the secret mission volunteers.
See you all tomorrow am!!!
