Saturday September 22nd at the new Nanaimo location we're planning a Grand Opening Celebration. We'll be providing hot dogs and pop for those who stop by, and we've got permission to set up nets for one of our Live Target Shoots in the back parking Lot.
We'll be needing help in the form of live targets for the general public to shoot at. Pay will come in the form of cash or paint...depending on how much time is spent helping out by the individual. We'll also need help with the BBQ and running the target shoot.
The target shoot is 2.00 for 10 shots (the same as for the fun fairs) and each shooter will get their name put into a draw for a Tippmann gun package!
Anyone who wishes to stop by to talk to nonpaintball players about the sport is encouraged.
Just confirmed that The Wolf radio station will be broadcasting LIVE from the new location. I'm hoping this will help make this grand REopening a huge success.
Yes there will be sale pricing on everything in the store. No not everything will be marked...but consider it almost like boxing day....only warmer.

You're right...last night I said*Only a <edited for underaged readers protection> would wanna see Kieran in assless chaps.*
Betcha can't wait to see what Kieran's gettin paid to do for work that day. I was kinda thinkin of a clown costume and a sign saying *SHOOT PEOPLE HERE* Now we'll have to have him do it in assless chaps instead. (but we don't really wanna scare the people off now do we?)

Sounds like there will be lots of other prizes being handed out as well now. This is gonna be better then Christmas...

we could strap some signs to the back of my wheelchair and roll me around downtown nanaimo i think that would attract some people out.

The school's won't allow that type of sign to be put up as it is advertising for a business.
And Justin rolling around in a wheelchair with a sign advertising Bastion Paintball...hrrrmmm....I can see it now:
"Paintball huh? That's cool...just curious, how'd you break your leg?"
Might not be the best advertisement. lol

I got it. It just lacked punctuation of any kind.

Congratulations again Brandon, and I hope everything goes well at the grand reopening tomorrow. Nice to see the Islands longest running (?) retail paintball store expanding operations again!

Yup...since '99...we're the longest serviing retail location for sure...could be argued the longest serving paintball company period on the Island. But that's another story altogether

And Justin...it starts at noon for the opening etc...pics are being taken for the website at 10:30 or so...

Big thanks to everyone who showed up to help set up, and be live targets...you really made this event happen. Thanks also to the participants, some who were existing customers, many who are future customers. Several of the shooters were from my other life...the hooligans that they are.
Thanks to the prize sponsors: Pacific Paintball-Nelson Paintballs, PBL West, Shark Energy, DYE Precision, and Queale Electronics.
The event was a HUGE success, and was awesome fun.
