Well, went out yesterday and helped fix up some of Midway's fields ... had fun and a good sense of accomplishment.
Afetrwards we did a few games ... and I broke out my Pirahna LB and SB for some old school fun (I really need to practice my pump game).
Took a hit to the BE pocket hopper and as expected it holed through and shut down my pump play.
So, to the meat of this .... anyone know what a good replacement would be and where to get one? I've heard the winchester hoppers are pretty good but where to find them?
I'm done with the BE hoppers. <swear filter>, I'm giving serious thought to converting everything to SC tube feeds.
Even something like a 100rd sportshot would work.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Winchesters are great little hoppers there tough and won't break when they take a hit , and if you can get your hands on a Dye lock lid pod, you can take the lid from it and stick it on the hopper and you'll get an extra 15 balls in the hopper and a fancy locking lid. I'm pretty sure PW Paul has some instock, he said he did in a previous post somewhere on the forum, if he does he'd be the closet to you.
onlinepaintball.ca also has some little GenX 50 round hoppers for like $3.99 there alright little hoppers not as good as the Winchesters IMO

There is a guy out there that sells the winchesters with the locking lid, I just can't for the life of me remember what his site is.

Noodle used to sell the dye and hopper ... just not together. It was still up to you to rip the lid off of the locklid and attach it to the winchester.

For the love of Jebus, anyone looking for a small hopper for pump play should steer well clear of the GXG pocket hopper. I got one and tossed it in the recycle bin before it even saw one game as it wouldn't load a ball reliably. Two dry-fires at the range in a row, while consciously trying to load a ball = crap design. The Winchesters are the way to go, for sure. Personally, I use one of the Sanchez-style stick feeds that drops right into your feedneck and a wrist harness with cigar tubes. Not quite the same, but very enjoyable. Pinnacle sells them if you're interested.
