Sorry, I'm a little late in getting news out about WCPW '10. My business partner has been out of town and for a while on some family matters and I am busy running TNT Paintball as well as building a house at the same time.
Rest assured though, WCPW '10 will be held as usual on the long weekend at the end of July (beginning of August) as usual. I will try to get the registation forms ready and get all the info out there shortly.
The field layout? Won't know until we start blowing up bunkers. It's always a surprise. We don't set the field up until the evening beofre the fun tourney on Saturday, so there will be no playing on the field until the actual tourney. This makes it fair for our out of town guests, that usually don't get in until Friday night or Saturday morning.
Team sizes and general rules are the same as previous years, so get a couple of friends together to play with you and be prepared to have fun.

For those that don't know, the Fun Tourney is a 3man center flag Pump Paintball event on an inflatable course. Pretty standard tourney rules as far as penalties go, and I believe a cap'd amount of ammo allowed on the field per player per game (that was the case last year at least).

Cap'd ROF to eh? 15bps right?
No. No rate of fire limit. Shoot as fast as you want to with your pump. With 80 paintballs as your limit, you can lane 15 bps for 5.3 sec. At 6 seconds into the game, I will be walking to the bunker of my choice.

At that point you need to catch balls shot at you and breach load them to fire back

i believe there is no rule against auto triggers. i have one on my marker and only used it once last year. its pretty pointless anyways.

In all honesty I've seen WAY more people one-balled off the break at Pump Weekend than laned out by someone using an auto-trigger... the theory is sound but the actual implementation seems to be less effective than one might hope.

We now have info regarding West Coast Pump Weekend 2010 on our website for those interested.
One thing of interest is the fee (penalty) for not pre-booking has gone up this year, so I would advise everyone to book early. Early registration deadline is July 25.
