Now some of you probably wonder why these event thank you threads always pop up.
Well it's because some people that make or don't make podium can forget to thank some sponsors and people that made the event such a great time.
So from the Notorious Crew we all want take a sec once again to Thank:
Troy and Julie Eklund
I said it several times to ya and again on podium but for the people that forgot or those that don't know Troy and his family opened up thier home to a couple dozen paintballers. We're a crazy group of people to host and WOW can these guys host a party. The generousity and welcoming received by everyone that was there was amazing. His home was your home, sep in my cause his home was better equipped with food to fest on and room to allow over half a dozen guests to stay inside the house and a couple dozen to camp outside. Bonfires, BBQs and Beers were a plenty and once again bro - THANK YOU, really man, THANKS...
Marina and Roomie
These crazy girls opened up thier home to the Notorious Crew for Sunday night and what a night it was, a house by the lake in the darkness with crickets chirpping, fire pit burning, Shag Carpet and Sunlight dish soap made for a wicked end to a amazing weekend.
Vancouver Vendetta
These guys are so much fun. Brothers in arms and in this case over the weekend they lent some of those arms to others in need as they reff'd thier asses off in the crazy heat. These guys rolled out early, worked 12-16hr days in one of the most thankless jobs there is. It's also a tough one and your efforts and dedications to bringing us some great days of paintball are tremendous. THANKS
Johnny Thompson
As a guest player Johnny did more than just show up to the field and shoot his gun for fun. He stepped up and shared some insight to the game and some of the things he has learnt along the way that has helped him. Information like that has incredible value. Sometimes it's information you already know and info that's already been shared but when a little killer like Johnny shares it, well...the guys listened and with his help Notorious was able to take another podium position and stand in front of you again as one of your Island teams gunning for that number one spot. It was a pleasure to have Johnny Thompson on the roster and we look forward to working with him some more in the near future. Thanks Johnny - rip em up in Chicago.
Island Love
Lots of Islanders played on a number of different teams throughout the tournament and we took care of our own. That bond and unity was strong as we shared the love this weekend. I'm sure you all heard me asking you if you needed anything and I know when we were getting prepared in the pits I heard the same from you.
Sometimes even the simplest things can make a world of difference with a tournament. A bottle of water, a gatorade, a gun, a loader, someone to pit crew, someone to grab you paint or give you a ride, find a spot for you to roll out your sleeping bag for the night. That extra view from the spectator side of the field on the teams. That extra love you can share for your Island Brothers means a ton and we took care of our own this weekend. So THANKS to all the Island Players that helped make this an epic weekend.
Clearly ALL of the BCPPL Crew once again went out of thier way to bring us another amazing event at a incredible venue. After more then five years of mayhem and madness these guys are still at it with us and someone really needs to step up and present all of you with medals and trophies for what you have given us all.
THANKS!
