Heh all IPFers....

This weekend will see a whack of Island Ballers heading off to Salmon Arm to rip it up at BCPPL's Canadian Triple Crown. Island teams heading out include Notorious, Victoria's Secret, X-Karnage, WarParty and Victoria Encore. Island will have reps in all four divisions (two in D2). The Island crews will be facing challengers from BCPPL, IPL and MRSeries! Going to be some fine battles!! Be sure to check out the webcast...

Well all and all a super weekend. Finished the prelims in 8th place... man so close to not making the finals!! SUPER competitive field. Tuff teams from all over the province, States and Alberta.

Round one in the semi finals saw us facing the Saints (1st place team in prelims)... our old nemesis and good friends. We BLEW them out in 2 games. Second round of finals saw us battle DBS Titans who proved to be awesome ballers. A ref error at the start left us standing on our own d1ks (ref new to the start process messed us up... we never got the "winning" head space back) and we dropped to battle for 3rd. Mashed it up hard and won against AfterLife (a great bunch of ballers).

Third place finish for WARPARTY. Not to shabby. Will do better next time!!

grats guys!! awesome. last i had checked the scores it said warparty was in 8th and my heart sank. but i am happy to see it didnt stay that way!! good job to all the island brothers!!!

we ended 2 and 4 first day losing to some good teams but very close. today we won our first game in the morning giving us an 8th seed in the semis. this put us up against the undefeated synergy team. they put us in the dirt first game. second game we sent me and jeff to the 50 U off break both made it alive. reff comes over to me pulls me on some random <swear filter> paint from the ground that rubbed on my hand and i got a 1 for 1. back 3 players clutch and manage to G all 5 of synergys guys. we get a 2 for 1 for hanging a flag with mike who had a hit on his pack. in my books we won that game, just controversial reffing is all that messed us. considering this was a throw together of island boys and most of us arent even classifieid for d2 i think we held our own. warparty looked real good out there and so did notorious. it was a freaking awesome event.

That last ref call against "Secret" when the double run to the U took place was a terrible blow. You guys deserved that game IMO.

Terrible to hear about the bags to... hope they are recovered/found.

Notorious played solid ball finishing 2nd in D1. So close to 1st... just needed to find the last opfor player as the time was running down and trade out with him... it was literally seconds away but the clock ran down... DANG!!


XK also rocked hard missing Qfinals by the slimmest of margins and ended 5th.

Hey All....it was an awesome weekend of ball....we went 3-3 on saturdays playing half <swear filter> and 1-1 on sunday still playing half <swear filter> ball and that left us in 5th place for the playoffs...we ended up playing B.N.I in the semi's and ripped them up the first game and then losing the next 2 battles knocking us out for 5th place in the tourney.....not bad i guess because they ended up winning the tourney.

Hopefully going to rip it up in E3
