Josh, you know I'd buy that A5 from you in seconds if I had the funds - but then I wouldn't be able to go to Colombia either. mellow.gif
But I WILL be in the market once my finances stabilize and some 'mad money' start flowing again! With my new job, that actually seems to be a possibility.

As for Colombia, I'll be buying my ticket on June 23rd, meeting with Op's Oscuro (98OG), Fergus (X7OG), and a few mainland teams such as the Wolverines and the Dogs of War.
Initially, I wanted to play the DEA side, but it's looking like everyone else wants to go with the Colombian cartels and militias this year. So, I'm following the red tape for this game.

No, blood is not accepted for tickets. I meant sell blood to the Red Cross.

If you haven't sold your A5 by game day, I will buy it off you used for a ticket and a couple of cases if you want. I need to see it to judge the final price.

Oh goody, an old fashioned lynching! I've got the rope, now all we need is a few pitch-forks, some torches and a bunch of angry villgers ( that's us) and then were all set!

Bahahaha... Wingnut, the Island United crew never picks which side it's going to play for these days. I know some of the crews try to always play red or always play blue but we (and a couple of the other crews) get moved around so that Matt can keep things balanced, mix up who plays with whom, and who gets a chance to win that day. Most of us just check in as Island United and Matt puts us where he wants the Island United force.

If you've already picked your side it's a coin toss as to whether we'll get to play with you or against you as we don't know which side we'll be playing on till Matt tells us. Good luck to ya and make sure you wear something distinct so your buddies can keep track of kills on ya if you wind up on the other side of our guns wink.gif My favorite gun fights are always the ones where you know who it is on the other end anyways...

Yeah, Island United had less than a 1/3 of our regular turn out for that last one. Considering we were teamed up with the CSPO playing against the Tons, Ambush, etc I'm surprised it was just a loss instead of an outright massacre, but we still managed to keep it reasonably close. I'm not sure if I'll be shooting paint at this one but I'll be there shooting footage if I'm not slinging paint.

Ha, you guys know I would never betray Island United if I had a choice in the matter. dry.gif

The problem is, I've not really made up my mind. I've a ballcap and a kick-<swear filter> tactical rig that begs "DEA! DEA!," but my friends from the X7OG are all looking like they may prefer to go militia/cartel.
Also, I already role-played as Delta Force at TPG in 2006, so being the bad guy for a change really seems tempting.

Alright, count me in for an Island United coin flip. I'll see if I can persuade the others in my group to get in on it too.

By the way, if anyone is interested in buying in for a five-pack of tix at $180, I've already confirmed three people in my group and am looking for two more to buy tickets.

Okay, I've been talking with a few of my friends. Once we get our own group's ticket buy-in* organized, it looks like we're gonna be rolling with the Island boys, wherever you go.

*Status as of June 5th:
2 "yes"
1 "maybe"
1 pending response.

Looking for at least three people who can commit $36 each before June 23rd. Save your money where you can, the paint isn't going to be cheap!
