Not to get too technical on you there, but apparently you actually *don't* know how to adjust the trigger on the PM8...

Pg 14 of the PM8 users manual http://www.dyematrix.com/manuals/ProtoManuals/M8_Manual.pdf

Google "PM8 manual" click on the first link, and then look up "Trigger Adjustment" in the table of contents.

Ya but thats just like fine trigger movement for me ...

This is how the trigger is....

When i pull it out ( it doesnt stay if i tap it hardish )

When i tune it the trigger wont go this far out...

On one of my markers if the screw that actually holds the trigger in is screwed in too much, it would cause some binding of the trigger.
I'd try backing off that screw a thread or two and see if that makes a difference in the return of your trigger to starting position.

If your trigger doesn't have a spring or magnet kit in it to give the trigger some return push adding one *might* do it for you. Other options would be to find a different trigger designed to sit in a swept forward position.

Another option would be to try practicing with the trigger as is for a while first since walking an electro trigger uses a distinctly different technique from crushing out shots on a heavy mech trigger and is something that you have to practice to get good at.

not sure i've ever seen a trigger out that far. if the trigger isn't adjustable that far then its only staying because the screw tension on the trigger is too great and isn't letting it fall back. only adjust it with the screws, don't be pulling on it...

You can also have it in really close and have to barely pull it and the solenoid will click, if your having issues but want the trigger out farther put one of those triggers that curves out instead of the standard rake triggers?

under the grips there are screws that adjust where the trigger hits the solenoid

You should take the grips apart and see how the trigger actually works smile.gif

now...

The trigger will NOT sit out that far, what you have done is pretty much taken out the pre-travel screw to the point where it doesn't stop the trigger. The spring return for the trigger will not push the trigger out that far. It is not meant to do that, so it won't.

you have 3 adjustments:

Pre travel: how far forward the trigger comes before hitting the micro switch

Post travel: how far backwards the trigger can be pulled after firing the marker

Spring tension: how tight your trigger is, you can take this out along with the spring but you with have a very short and bouncy trigger pull [not field legal]. be careful not to unthread it too much as it can fall out and jam between your trigger and frame, making the gun not fire.

And as an added point, I believe your spring tension screw has fallen out and caused that jam in the trigger pull.

Take off the grips, and see what is going on in there. maybe its just dirty.

if you want a short trigger pull.. but have the trigger out like in the second picture... you will need a dm8 reach style trigger.. http://www.compulsivepaintball.com/product.asp?ic=18213

it will let you adjust the further out, but still allow the trigger to activate the switch...

if you wanted to mod the trigger (you would need some minor metal working skills) you could build a small plate to screw to the back of the trigger, so that the trigger could be set futher out.. and still activate the switch.. fairly easy to do it you have a drill and some files.. remove the trigger spring adjust screw and use that threaded hole to hold the plate in place..

then you could adjust the forward and rear trigger stops to allow the trigger to sit that far forward

please remember when adjusting your trigger.. you do not want to use the trigger switch as your rear stop.. you never want the switch to bottem it self out.. or you risk the chance of destroying the switch.. always adjust the rear stop to keep from putting too much presure on the trigger switch..
