Looks like you just need to recrimp the wires into that molex connector or a new connector that they can sell you for under a buck.
Of course the proper tool is gonna cost sixty bux and thier labor for thirty seconds could have a min charge - or if you beg and plead and drop a crocodile tear - they may have the kindness in thier hearts to quickly do it for you. (No idea on that but it's a guess)

But I'm sure you obviously just figured that out.

Might be surprised to find this out but it's in the phone book actually and you can find their listing online as well.

I just happened to walk in there one day and needed a couple ends put on a Sistered BNC cable with Power and instead of the guy charging me for the ends, tool and telling me to RTFM - he sold me the ends I needed and crimped them on as I stood there. Saved me over $60. I can't say if that's thier standard operating procedure at all. - I have seen them tinkering with items in the shop each time I visit but I've never asked what work they do perform there.
I typically know what I need when going in there - buy it and leave but I found that when describing my one time issue the staff member was kind enough to help.
Try giving them a call - if they do not do small electronic repairs you could always try Qtel electronics on Burnside - I know they like melting metal together with hot metal.

Most guns when it is eyes off will cap around 15 bps. when they sense a eye malfunction it usually goes down to 8-10 bps
