PMR = Proto Matrix Rail.

Although you can in theory use any marker for 'speedball' - Generally a 'speedball' marker is geared towards high volume play and can keep pace with just that.
The markers are tuned to be consistant with the 290-300fps velocity with ropes of paint reaching 15-20 balls per second.

It's all about consistancy and volume.

i like my PMR. only issue i ever have with it is sometimes it leaks air. but usually a couple shots will clear that up.

SLG is the bottom line of proto (sear tripping spool valve)

PMR is now the Flagship marker of proto priced ~500 with a UL frame. The 2009 PMR replaced the PM8 as the flagship marker, though I'm sure the PMR's are decent markers, I am fairly miffed that Dye/Proto discontinued the PM# series
