In stock as of April 28, & this thing's only $250! (Software and turret kit). You still have to blow $50 on cervos though.
Tell me this thing wouldn't be fun to incorporate into some games...

If I had the money I would be all over it. My old boss and I were looking at building one years ago. we had teh step motors and all teh electronics figured out, but non of us were much into programing it like these guys had done.

Well I hope you do... After all, somebody should get one at least... I'll be looking forward to hearing about it in the product reviews, particularly about the software.

Where do you guys see this as listed in stock? I will buy one for the next scenario game for sure.
A secret will be to place the sentry gun and find the computer, then hook it up and power up the gun. Too cool.

You're the guy bringing that Argo to Midway on Aug 15th, aren't you? Hmmm. Oh, the possibilities... There's one thing I can see being quite an issue with this thing, & that is it doesn't look like it's capable of detecting its own hits. So dead guys are gonna be bonus-balled until they're out of range. To actually put this thing to good use where it doesn't piss people off, is gonna require a full time operator who can disable it to let the dead guys out (and keep it loaded of course). You'll also be concerned with jerks trying to blind it by shooting the camera lens.
With that in mind... maybe you could customize it by providing a sort of "disabling" target that can be placed within its field of view some 50 feet from it. Something like a tin can lid epoxied to a button that cuts the power for 15 seconds or something... Button starts timer, timer opens circuit... idk... I'm not very good with electronic gizmos.

totally buy one matt. can work out the kinks later. as for people being bonus balled? just explain in the briefing that if you come across a live sentry be prepared to be shot until you get outta there or are no longer moving. no different than running up against a full auto tank. lol
