I watched it yesterday. Shaw has a policy of not giving out copies anymore, as it takes up to much of ther time. But I wil see what I can do, seeing I use to work there and I'm friends with the program director.
Unfortunatly my Shaw PVR doesn't allow me to copy the files off of it to a computer.

this month's hump game will be the
biggest renegade game in the history of the island
lowest paint prices ever offered
lowest gear prices ever offered
if we can get some campbell river players out i will do whatever it takes to get a big renegader up there. island united!

To be honest I'm not especially concerned with what they aired anymore, but I would like there to be some footage up somewhere of the First Humpday. I had a strange notion that the Shaw bit would fill that niche but it sounds like they're determined to keep people who are interested in it from actually seeing it *shrug*

It was played all over teh island from Duncan North. if you want it to continue being played you have to request it at tyour local shaw office. Same goes for if you want it played in Victoria.

Sometimes when doing storys the field reporters wish they could have got that 'extra shot' or had the chance to ask the questions they forgot.
The whole 'not being able to give out a copy' must be some new policy - I know when Shaw/Chek6 covered a boxing competition I was in years ago at Memorial Arena I was able to go down and pay $15 for a copy of all the footage they did - including promotions, pre-fight interviews, new highlights, post-fight follow up reports and commercials on the event.
I've got a TV Tuner on my PC but no cable subscription in Victoria - Ha.
