Just wondering what type of paint you guys sell at the field? Is is always the same too?

Do you have specifics on the sizing? ie. .691, .685 etc

Thanks.

Looking to come out to the May 16 Pump day. Just picked up my first pump gun. I'm looking forward to giving it a go at TNT. Would be my first visit too.

We use mostly DXS paint, most of which is custom made for us. Count on using smaller bore sizers. Haven't measured any in a while, but I'm sure they will be on the low .68X size.

Bronze usually works nice with a .685 back
Silver and Gold shoot nice out of a .688

My prefrence for pump is 684 I find it will fit all their paint snug and still help prevent rollouts

^ in concur with the others, its generally ~.685ish give or take, if you use silver or gold (whenever its available again?) figure on it being a little smaller
You're in for a treat if you've never tried a pump day before, its a completely different game smile.gif

I was playing today at TNT, and using their DXS TNT Custom paint, and I found using my 688 barrel was the best fit for it. As usual the paint was good quality and I had no issues

Ive had a .682 freak insert in my Deadly Wind barrel for awhile now. Always use it, never break paint. Gold/silver/frosbite/bronze/custom all shot well.

.685 worked well with the custom Saturday. I also used to use 682 but this batch was bigger.

Cheers,

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I was thinking of picking up a CP 2 piece barrel with .685 and either .689 or .682 backs. Unless someone has a better suggestion? The CP and an extra back would be 90$ + taxes, shipping. I have done a fair amount of research and that seemed like the best deal...

I say grab 682 and 685.

if we get bombarded with the .670 paint like the states has we will be buying reball inserts for all our barrels

I still think you will need a 682 or smaller barrel.

I believe they sell a .682 back for the kit. I'll have to pick that up shortly.
