what a frikkin excellent event. 12 teams, lotsa spares. very high level play with the likes of cole scott, snipers, supers, irish, surrey holesmashers etc etc.

supernaturals rookie powered their way through to a 3rd place podium finish! so right on guys! a 5th, a 4th and now a third! each event they get better - and check this out;

in a game between the supernaturals and swat, it got down to a 3 on 1; 3 supers on 1 swat (an old veteran - mike - of mike squad circa 1992) both ryan and ian's guns were down so greg powered down the tape with the only working gun...... he gets hit (greg) - so ian comes and stabs mike with his bbl. - that didn't work so giles picks up a ball and whips it at mike and beans him in the back of the head with it - and mike surrenders!!!! what a play! 1st successful ball toss bunker i've seen in over 10 years!

seen a coupla 300 pound guys wipe out like they were druken ballerena's. (for some reason this always seems funny to me). some really tight games. snipers took 1st in am. - a very convincing win vs. surrey.

you know, chris hamel (head panther) was amazing and so was his staff. they set shid up, got the field prepped awesome! great air, even greater paint. we (paintballevents.ca) and 'run 4 the guns' are simply ecstatic panther has supported this practice series and truly raised the profile and legitimacy of this series of events. jethro, jimmy, steve, kyle and exspecially chris hamel - thankyou for everything and we hope to see some island teams support what chris has going on with his woodsball league in van. - his 5000 hectare paintball megatropolis city village trench warfare zone is simply amazing.

thanks to every1 who helped out; matt, dana jesse keving owen vickers, every1!

Concur, another successful event, even considering the torrential downpour. Thanks from me personally go to:

- Chris and Jeff from Panther for their fine facilities
- Fraser from Surrey Holesmashers (you may also remember him from Impact) for setting up the field
- Kev, Junior and all the players from Sniperz and Jedi Paintball - thanks guys
- Tom, Dana, Jesse, Bo and all the field crew along with JT the pit whip

3 events down, 4 to go. Remember everyone that in order to qualify for the One for the Guns in October, you need to play 4 of the 7 events leading up to the finale.

See you all at Sniperz on June 6!

Matt

although it was quite hilarious, greg's 'pink panther' 2 events ago is still the funniest by far....

WOW! and every1 knows how i rarely use capitals. those were frikkin amazing straight up dope. some of them, the bunkerings etc. are just incredible. your missed your calling perhaps? aren't digital photo's great? no need for a photocopier either. (and we all know how chris loves photocopiers ha ha - inside ninja joke).

but really, some of those are magazine-worthy.

I think my fav is on page 10 pic dsc-0287, the bunkering, notice the explosion of the paintball on his pack belt, unlike photoshopped pics in magazines, this is the real deal of the ball exploding. You should see it in full size.
