  • Doesn't mater how much you spend, its how you play the game.

Hello everybody,
It's been awhile since I've been on and its great to see all the pictures from the Port Alberni Hump Game!
I have been reading some of the old forum post and I have seen talk of why the Paintball company's (both field and retail) not getting out to any of the exhibition shows that we have on the Island, last year Vantage Point Paintball Markers (Me) attended Evergreen Exhibitions Home Show and unfortunately it was a 200 dollar flop for us; mainly because it was meant for indoor goods and services, on that note.
Coming up in June is the Comox Valley Outdoor Recreation Show, its for everything from fishing, hunting and anything outdoors.
I thought I'd pop in and tell everyone what we are planning on setting up, we will have our truck there couple tables with all of our Milsim Creations and with any luck a live fire range! Also I would Like to Bring down all the information I can muster about Island United and who we are.
I would like to know from you the players what would you hope to see at a paintball display?
Cheers,
Eric Christian.

Anything that clears up misconceptions that may give paintball any sort of negative press... People need to understand that paintballs are environmentally friendly for instance.

Also, everything you can think of to give paintball positive press.
A nice long list of Q&As should cover most of it.
Perhaps some video...
Perhaps some posters advertising the up & coming big Island events.

If you get the shooting range you're hoping for, then I think a "shoot your friend for 25 cents" tip jar would be hilarious. 5 shots for a buck? Who wouldn't go for that?... Oh yeah, I guess the guy getting shot might not be too keen... Ah well, you'll know how to the answer the age-old newbie question, "Do paintballs hurt?" anyhow.
