TICKETS SOLD AT GATE ON GAME DAY


This just in, the Nelson Rep. is confirmed to be there. There will be a couple of tippmen 98's, bravo one, A5's, and for the grand prize X7 phenom for give aways.
Also Nicol street Paintball has agreed to add some more Give aways to the pot and possibly set up a NSP booth as well.

Ninjas vs Spartans?
Sounds like somebody's been watching a little too much "The Deadliest Warrior" on Discovery Channel.

So if I come dressed as a Spartan, does that auto-select me to the Spartan team?

i've had nothin to do with the theme or the organization of this one so far.(i do beleive its deadliest warrior inspired) Any questions about this will need to be directed at midway pete. ill answer what i can but im trying to stay away from the planning so i can play this one.

Cannot wait. Personally I think the Spartans would destroy the Ninja in a large scale conflict simply because they are trained in group tactics, manouver and strategy. They live the shield wall. The live and fight as a unit... the Ninjas on the other hand... are lone stalkers... the silent killer. The skills of the Ninja are not meant for large group armed conflict... back alley stab in the back, poison in the soup, sneak attack, entry and evasion... yep... Ninja... marching out into armed conflict on a battle field... gotta give it to the Spartans.

You just saved of an hour of my life- no need for me to watch that episode now... Although depending on the circumstances, I think the ninja could give the Spartans a run for their money. I can see it now... The Spartans tromp, tromp, tromping onward to battle in their shielded cluster... the ninja lurking in the trees with their ninja stars, poison darts, smoke bombs, & explosives. When the time is right, the ninja execute their ambush. First kills go the ninja. Once the Spartans have realized what just happened, the ninja have disappeared in the smoke to go set up the next surprise attack.
But yeah, obviously if the ninja were playing the Spartan's game, & marching out to meet on the battle field, they would be promptly smitten.

I dunno... any group of ninjas worth the title "ninja" wouldn't let many of the spartans make it to the battle field in the first place, they'd wipe most of them out the night before while they slept and pick off the sleepy ones as they made their way from camp to the field.

Hmmm... but Ninja costumes are easy, Spartans... not-so-much. Maybe a prize for best ninja, and one for best Spartan is in order?

That's what the plan is, a prize for the best ninja team, and a prize for the best spartan, it is optional. I don't expect them to play in there costumes, just for the contest.

Is this going to be the same type of game as last years Battle of Midway?(flag stations and 3 different game sessions)

Will there be generals for this game?

Is there going to be a tank(s)?

Are smoke bombs allowed?

will there be enough reffs?

How will teams be picked?

what is the minimum age to play in this?

im sure there are more questions but i think if you answer all these ones most of them will be covered.

Actually Minimum Age to play at this game is a good question!

I'm hoping to bring my nephew out to this for his first time playing paintball and he's in that grey area where some fields will be fine with it but a few may not be.
