i'm having a difficult time making our team patch. typically getting the words to bend at the top and bottom to match the curve of the round patch. can anyone shed some light for me?

thanks

You basically just need to type on a predefined path.
What program are you using?

A Predefined what? I used Paint for the initial design, and I've been using a couple other programs to see if I can get the wording to curve like the circle patch. I haven't had that much luck. it looks alright so far i think. I can't upload it as Photobucket is down for maintenance right now, but when its back up I'll upload and post what i've got.

ps. I like the island united so far. looks good. wish mine looked that good

EDIT: here's what i've got so far

I was using Verdana font for the curved text. the center A's I created in paint when I built the original. I can send you that one without the curved text

Hey if he wants to join our team then he'll have to pass the series of tests we have put together. a gruelling physical test, drug test, alcohol test, background check, security clearance, advanced trig test, ship stability test, navigational test (without using gps and electronic charting program), etc etc

alright, so I've finished creating the patch. I think it turned out very well. only problem is I can't print it out from Photoshop. what am I doing wrong? why can't I print.

EDIT: I've managed to reproduce it and save it as a .png file so I can print and upload it. I have also created the background patch with the O.D Green colors if anyone wants it

Good job. It'll look great as a patch.
You printer probably doesn't support post script document printing or lacks the motivation to do so.
