Hey guys,
I'm an international student in Nanaimo. I heard from a friend that there is a paintball game field. Some friends and I want to enjoy this game sometime, but we dont know what we need to prepare. We're definetly not going to be a some kind of professional team. smile.gif Please tell me about the rules and other stuff. Thanks.

Hi Nestor. This should get you started. http://www.tntpaintball.com/faq.php

As far as rules goes..there are missions assigned before each game (ie Capture a flag, get the VIP to a safepoint, etc.) that the teams try to accomplish to win the game. To stay in the game, a player needs not to get hit with a paintball and have a splat of paint eliminate them.

There are several good fiedls on the Island. Not sure exactly what's around Nanaimo. Midway in Duncan is a commercial field that has some pretty cool stuff that might be a little closer than Victoria (where TNT and other good fields are locatd). I believe Tomn8r on this forum stll runs paintball games in Nanaimo, so you might want to contact him.

Well, I don't think you should get rid of the girlfriend just because she didn't like paintball. Maybe a second girlfriend for paintball?

Hi Nestor,
Since you're from Nanaimo, you ought to make tomn8r your go-to-guy for anything you need. You'll find all the best deals right there. There's no need for you drive all the way to Victoria for a game of paintball (although TNT is quite likely the best field in the province). I'm unfamiliar with any fields close to Nanaimo other than Midway in Duncan, which is a pretty kick-azz field for a good price.

thanx 4 the props y'all. if you're heading over to the mainland, both tpg and panther paintball have huge, well-equipped fields. i just poked my head into panther this weekend actually! 200 new goggles, all200 markers are on compressed air and the fields are incredible! tpg has upcoming scenario games with tanks. most of the island fun-loving 'ballers hit that up at least once a season.
