While surely a blow to KEE Action Sports’ burgeoning stable of professional paintball teams, the Russians will be shooting the acclaimed DRAXXUS Gold® line of tournament paints and wearing the VForce Grill goggle system. The ProPaintball.com news staff had reports of the Russians shooting DXS paint at their most recent practice in NorCal’s Capitol Edge Paintball, however, official confirmation of the switch came today from our friends in the Russian Legion camp.

After a 5-year stint of using almost entirely KEE branded products (Empire, Evil), 2010 marks a season of change for Russian Legion. New for 2010, the Russians will be shooting a private-label MacDev Clone marker, coupled with the Dye Rotor®, VForce Goggles, DXS Pants and DXS Paint. The Russian Legion will continue using SLY Dual-Carbon barrels, SLY Pro-Merc Harnesses, and will fill in the gaps left by KEE with SLY luggage and protective gear.

idk... didnt infamous beat the russians WHILE shooting the victory? RL usually goes where the money is... they are a business... im just glad they didnt go to eclipse like every other team defaults to.

true enough. i'm a fan of the victory and closer myself, and didn't understand the RL switch. they tend to not make wrong decisions, though..

let me put it this way

if ollie lang got offered $100,000 to shoot a spyder he would do it.
if RL got offered more money and sponsorships they'd make the switch 2.
the gun is only like..30% of the equation. if you suck at paintball having a $1550 gun wont help you.

LOL. true enough. however, none of RL suck. hence the extreme sponsorship offers. but yeah, you're right. sadly enough, money>loyalty (in most cases)

yeah.. it's a shame there's no money in paintball to sell out to.. (unless you're the ironmen or RL..)
