I'm having a problem with the reg on my borg. Earlier on today it would hold 150 psi but wouldn't cycle. I turned out the HPR about a quarter turn and the air bled out. I then aired it up again and now it reads wayyyy past 300 which makes afraid. It still won't cycle and at this point I'm not going to do anything more without some assurance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jeremy

Trying to dry fire it with eyes on?

The slightest turns on a gladiator reg make the difference.
They are not like other reg adjustments.

Super small turns until it cycles and chrono's right with paint will work.

As I said it won't even cycle and the psi gauge on the reg is maxxed out. I made sure the eyes were off.

I just went back a looked and the pressure was back down to 150 psi on the gauge on the reg. I turned it on and turned the eyes off and it dry fired once but then it refused to cycle after that again. Currently sitting at around 90 psi.

The reason why it may be reading higher after backing the reg screw out is perhaps because the macdev regs are backwards (i believe). Counter-clockwise (unscrewing) increases pressure while clockwise (screwing in) decreases. Well, that how it at least works on the new Cyborg RX

No, the pressure magically went back down to 150 (I have no idea how). I then bled the air from the gun opened the grips and noticed a huge kink in the hosing. Undid the kink and of course it then shoots. That would explain why the marker wouldn't cycle...

If you changed the pressure you have to relieve the old pressure (if you put it down) by bleeding it or shooting it again
