I would like to personally thank all the players and spectators who attending the inaugural event of Run 4 The Guns, held on March 07 at The Proving Grounds. The weather wasn't the greatest, but we had great competition and great attitudes all around.

The final top 3 in each division:

OPEN:

1st place - Sniperz Predators
2nd place - Sniperz RTK
3rd place - Fighting Irish

ROOKIE:

1st place - Gridlock
2nd place - PRD Sniperz
3rd place - War Party

Special thanks to all the Islanders and all the players from Chilliwack who made the trek out to the field. Next event is April 04 back at the Proving Grounds, with the third event on May 02 at Sniperz Paintball in Chilliwack.

Remember, in order to qualify for the guns at the end of the year, your team must have played in a minimum 4 events. Your best 4 scores from the 7 events will be used to calculate the year end standings.

See you all in April!

Matt / TPG

Heh Tom and Matt,

It was a good event. The TPG grass field played very nicely and the bunker layout was pretty snazzy. The huge lane on the snake side was such a kill zone for our guys... oddly Dan and I seemed to make it over without getting blasted but we sure enjoyed the turkey shoot.

PRD Snipers... sigh... our nemesis... well... they did have some help from two of our Island team mates! RTK Snipers get the nod for the most improved IMO. Those kids SMASHED. Gridlock did real well to (sorry Sasha...).

Thanks to Tom, Matt, Ref crew (yeah Dana), JT for being the pit whip... good job.
