In summary Barrel Baseball good in theory, fun up until you hit the ball, and best played outside of the living room.

One word for you.... REBALLS!!! Don't mess with paint indoors unless you own everything in the room and don't mind never getting all the paint off of your stuff. My son and I regularly play blow-gun tag with barrels and ReBalls because they don't make a mess. Had a couple of stray balls roll out of gear bags and get stepped on and result in a half hour or so of trying to get all the bits of splatter cleaned up.

I've discovered that indoor reball should not be done at over 200fps - it dents drywall at 295-305.
200 and under bounces around the room nicely still.
Oh and 250fps from 8ft away will still break LCD TVs and monitors - just in case you want to buy a new one.

An ex of mine shot several holes in her bedroom door messing around with reballs after having been explicitly warned not to.

Decent idea, didn't occur to us at the time as we were cleaning everything/rotating what paint we had. So the paint just happened to be handy at the time. We didn't really think what would happen if I actually did hit one.

WTF?? I figured they'd just wrap a reball or something with relatively little mass to it... DELRIN!?!?
