- structured 5-player centre-flag games (2 divs: 'open' and 'rookie')
- refs, at least 6 of them
- low entry and paint costs ($25 entry includes player card) and fresh paint starting at just $48 a case/2000
- prizes; instant shopping-sprees at any pbl location (2 stores in van, plus a showroom)
- trophies (quality trophies 1st through 3rd in both divs.)
- high-level competition (us, snipers, thunder, gridlock etc.) in the open division
- ammenities like crazy: ferry shuttle (free), turfed/netted/bleachers/shelters/easy access/concess/store next door etc.
if you are still considering attending this event consider this:
- does not interfere with existing league schedules and priced low enough so as to not 'bite in' to those funds
- attend 4 of the first 7 'practice events' and your team qualifies to win all new 'high-end' guns at the final event.
- the skill-level of your team will increase significantly because of the 'tournament-like' structure (this i can promise)
- newly formed teams have the most to gain by being immersed quickly into the fray. new teams c'mon!
- you are supporting local b.c. fields, stores and players (prizes go right back into your gear) and fields such as snipers, tswassen and the interior have incentive to up the quality of their speedball facilites. as other fields jump on line, they too will benefit - and so will their players - it's a growth thing.
thankyou for your consideration - tom
