Hi Everybody,

There is already a another thread about a potential trip up to Qualicum Bay to play with the RzD crew. Now that the wheels are in motion and this is happening here's the new thread.

Anyway this trip is a go for next Sunday Feb 21, the plan is to meet at the Timmy's in Langford near Costco/Home Depot at 8:30 am and convoy up island and be up there around 11:30 or so and game time is noon. This is a bring your own paint event field, but they do have paint for sale for $50 a case, they can do C02 fills for a few bucks, SouthPark will be graciously lending me a few scuba tanks for HPA fills, and there are usually a bunch of other people up there with scuba's there too, so getting a 3K fill is never really a problem.

Currently I have 2 extra seats free in my vehicle, lets start organizing car pools.

Enjoy... good field and good guys to play against/with. Sundays are family days for me so I will not be making this trip. However, you can take as many scuba tanks of mine as you need CK... I have four and I think I can find the third fill station so you can set up a three deep bottom-top set up. If you are feeling really ambitious you can take the big yellow tank and do fills to 45k but that heavy duty... LOL.

Your kindness will be appreciated by all of us playing with HPA next Sunday. I don't think the big yellow tank will fit in the Aztek, very well with a bunch of bodies in there

anything i can do to help just ask!

stop by on the way and get fresh paint (fresh today). it would save the group mucho $$$. if you all came as a group, i could let paint go starting at just $35 a case.

ref vests, chronies, extra nets, all free to borrow if you need. have fun guys, i'll be at the cage that day for the supernaturals' first prakkie of the year but i can arrange to have paint or whatever avail.

Hopefully you can work something out, but if not its all good family comes first. For Nanaimo I figure the convoy should be running through there around 10:15am so if there are people from Nanaimo coming let me know and we'll range a meeting place probably at the Northfield Rd McD's or somewhere like that.

I think its Northfield, you turn off the highway and there's a McD and an Esso station?

Thus far not a strong south island contingent, slackers the lot of them, this surprises me as every time we talk about heading up to play in Qualicum Bay everyone is all stoked and can't wait until a trip up there gets organized. As for the paint meet up I'll probably just send some $$ up with the WP on Sat and have them bring me back a case or two of your finest paint

I've got two spots left, there yours if you want them, its outlaw so all you need is some paint and a few pesos for fuel so all in all it'll be a cheap day.

I'll probably have a carload and I thing Craig has a car going up too, Doug of the RZD Crew figures they'll have 20 to 30 people out as the weather is supposed to be really good, and they actually know were coming this time

Yeah, well as relatively cheap as it may be until I actually see a cheque for this project I'm having to plan on the scale of "do we pay rent or buy groceries at the end of the month". Finally got confirmation that they ARE going to be paying their bill... just don't know when the money will be showing up...

Sorry to hear about your financial woes, I seem to have them myself more often then not. Anyhow hopefully you'll be able to work something out and be able to come

Hopefully we can get a few more trips up there organized this spring & summer, as it is always a good time up there and the byop factor makes it really affordable

Once again, I was having too much fun playing to break out the video camera, but there were about 20 players on the field throughout the day. They're alot of fun, good crew and nice guys.
