it's that time of year again. the beginning of a new speedball season.

the B.C. Supernaturals will be looking for players to fill positions in all divisions. created in 1984, the supernaturals have played skyball, the nationals, in the u.s. and all over western canada, taking a whack of podiums every year along the way. last year the 'supers' podium'd 14 times between the 3 squads so if you need the hardware (like i do)......

the supernaturals are canada's longest playing competition speedball team and have won 1st in the top divisions in b.c., alberta and the canadian nationals. (it's not all army-training tho' - we do have 'some' fun ha ha)

if you have what it takes to compete, with a keen desire on skill development and tournament success, then perhaps this team is for you.

we practice every sunday at our home field 'the cage'. the team is supported and sponsored by pbl west, v.i.p., emco and central island paintball.

this year's goals include 5-man play in 'the run4th guns', 7 man play in the bcppl as well as practices and hopefully a few events stateside. (x-ball plans and the 'top secret' plans are still tba)

our first practice is sunday february 21st at 11am and our first event is e1 'run4th guns' in tswassen. there are currently 15 active players in the group ranging in age from 14 to 47. the team has 40 sup'air bunkers, an additional 'practice' speedball field in nanaimo, wholesale pricing on all equipment, a 4500lb. compressor, a large bulk compressed-air tank (for remote excursions) and all the rest of the goodies to train including a full-time coach (jt).

so again, there are many teams on the island to choose from; war party, notorious, deception, the supernaturals etc. this is the forum to find out which one's for you! choose a team, practice, get good, have some great times - now get out there and play!

For all you noobie lurkers out there, and all the naysayers. If you think Tom's methods to be extreme or outrageous, well..they are at times But they WORK. His endless amounts of trophies from the years will prove that.

I would love to see a full new player rookie roster win every event and take the series from Toms camp this year.

gonna be sunny every1. with 'notorious' and 'the mob' plus regulars dopping in - plus the supernatz tryouts - it's gonna be a busy place. we'll have everything up including the big 'x'.

new skid in: tastey blends of spankin new bronze and triumph (with it's new formula). plus we have a fresh skid of 'seconds' (when they make too many for an order) that we can blow out at $38(!) a box. please, some1 take the last of our 'heat' at $35 a box (home defence paint). also the usual 'basic training' at $42 and 'field blaze' at $47.

field fee is $12 person (covers lease/pooper/compressor/bunkers/maint.)
