Jt Lens Fell Apart

I have a proflex and the back part of the lense fell off after washing it. Is it safe to play in still or should I buy a new lense? Its pretty thin soim thinking itll be fine

The back part of the lens is the Thermal Pane, if you play without it you're likely to fog heavily. I have several thermal lenses which have partially peeled loose, you can usually glue them back together and they'll still work fine at not fogging as long as it's not too badly damaged and the space between the lenses is completely dry first.

I usually use hot glue on mine, it seems to hold pretty well

when you washed the lense did you fully submerge it in water? if this is the case you are not suppossed to submerge them. i do not reccommend playing with just the single lense as it may not fully protect you. read the little manual that comes with the lense if you still have it. never use defective eye protection.

no, just washed it in a sink and realized there was water inside the lens

Don't use crazy glue or cyanocylate based glues...the fumes will ruin the lens.
