I am pleased to announce that the 3rd chapter of the COLD WAR series is also the TIPPMANN CHALLENGE 2009. AFGHANISTAN INVASION launches October 11, 2009 at Tsawwassen Paintball Games main field at 100 South Tsawwassen Drive.

Schedule for the day:

- Gates open at 730am
- Registration opens at 8am
- Paint and air at 801am
- Morning game starts at 10am and runs until 12:15ish
- Lunch break is from 12:15ish to 1:15ishpm - BBQ will start up shortly after 10am
- Afternoon game starts at 1:15pm and ends at 3:15pm.
- Final battle briefing is at 3:30 pm. Final game starts at 4:10 pm and ends at 5pm.
- Awards and raffle at 5:30 SHARP

we had soooooooooo much fun last year that this is now a staple in our paintball lives.

i suggest ne1 who hasn't been to one of these - don't miss it this time. 'specially the tippman challenge. 400 plus players, every type of gat, camo, smoke, war, grrrr, explosions, battle din - it's all there and matt has packaged it up real nicely for us. i'd hate to say it, but wtf: if u have a paintball marker sitting in the closet building equity, get 'er out and let's sink the mainland!!!!

Great to hear the Island will once again have a killer crew coming over. As always, free shuttle picking up and driving back those who walk on to a ferry that comes into theTsawwassen terminal. I recommend to all to get tickets in advance, because these games always sell out. I always hold a limited amount of game day tickets but those go on a first come, first served basis in the morning, and are often gone before noon. I know game day is Thanksgiving Sunday, but we'll have you tired out and heading home by 6pm at the latest, and we always run on time.

Tippmann will be in full effect, with factory techs on site plus some killer deals on gear and of course providing the majority of the prizes in what should be a huge raffle.

If you can't get into either PBL store to buy tickets in person, we can take a VISA or MC over the phone and mail tickets to you or keep them for pickup at the front desk on game day. Call 604-437-7529 to order tickets in this method.

I sincerely hope so. I have seen some fantastic costumes, but to date, Moreno has put the most effort into his, winning at Axis vs Allies, and also the Cold War Korea game this year, if memory serves. His costumes as private Ryan from Axis vs Allies 1 back in the day was just amazing - he put a huge amount of effort and research into that, and rightfully won the best costume.

I think he plays out of paintballgear.ca these days, and if anyone knows him, he left his camera behind at CW Korea and I still have it. Would like to reunite it with the owner if at all possible.
