If you've got access to a ride there are also several fields in the Victoria area about an hour'ish south of Duncan:
- TNT is generally considered the best developed field in the region and will have some of the most consistently competitive rec play to be found on the Island
- Victoria Paintball Adventures (VPA) is smaller than Midway or TNT in size but is my favorite rec field because of the terrain it presents which they put to great use with some of the most innovative games going.
- Stormin Norman has a new field which I haven't had a chance to play on yet so can't really give much comment on it.
The Midway Forum is here - Midway Forum
The TNT Forum is here - TNT Forum
The VPA Forum is here - VPA Forum

I would love to come play at midway a view times and join the scenario event !
are there people training every week ? In my country paintball sport is only played on sundays, how is that at midway ?
I got a other question, does this field have a air compressor or something or Co2, and could I borrow a HP bottle or should i bring my own ?
Thank you guys ! you make me feel very welcome !

WarParty practices every Saturday or Sunday on the speedball field (somewhat similar to what the Euro crowd plays... ie Millenium).

not sure why it was missed - but -
in duncan there is a facility called the cage. it is the only proper speedball field on the island. x-ball is played there as well. there are 3 fields side by side all turfed with thick grass. they are also netted. all of the island's speedball and x-ball events are held there. it is about 200 metres behind the farmers market just south of duncan.
lowest paint prices on the island
the only 4500 lb psi compressor on the island
the home field of the supernaturals - the island's top tournamnet team with 3-4 squads of differing levels
open every sunday at noon
if this is somehting you might want to do, i'm available at 1 250 756 6793 10 am til 10 pm 7 days a week. good luck!

Watching speedball could be fun but playing it is not my thing, Ill bring my tippmann 98 (fully modded) and i will also bring my own HP bottle !
I live in Amsterdam and I play paintball in Almere, Its not big there but thats why i like cause at big places with lots of people u dont know there is not much of tactic going on !
I would love to join some training on sundays and join the scenario event on the 30e aug.

Hi Martin,
Make sure you're familiar with the airline regulations for travelling with an HP bottle. If you're not clear on them it may be better to leave the HP bottle at home and borrow a tank at the field. Several of us have spare HPA tanks that we lend out occasionally and failing that some of the fields can lend an HPA (or at the least a CO2) tank for the day.

I think they are straight cash right now... since you mention it they had better get some debit/credit stuff set up out there for the battle of midway scenario game.

Sorry Tom, my bad... he'd mentioned being a woodsball player at home so suggesting a speedball field just didn't occur to me. I guess being a person that enjoys pretty much all formats and has friends in each area that aren't interested in the other formats it never occurs to me to suggest styles of play or events that are outside of what someone identifies as their style(s). I'm also quite probably the worst recruiter you will ever meet *laugh*
