Unable to reply to multiple PMs in one sitting
I'll bet the delays are related to updated code to prevent PM spam.

For those trying to chat me by PMs - just add me to MSN instead

These PM delays hinder my speedy replys

I was checking on the Invision Power Board site about the spam and they're conclusion was that the current round of PM spam was happening due to humans bypassing the Captcha check at account creation and then bots taking over the spamming once the account is created. Their solution was to put flood control in and limit the frequency that a user can send PMs at so that not as much makes it out before the account can get shut down (hopefully).

From what I understand it's moderately configureable but I expect that hasn't been tweaked yet.

Yeah, felt like a flood control measure.
Figured it had to do with recent adjustments.

More of a heads up to those sending me PMs as I've been getting approx 30+ a day for the past week or so.

damnthem humanz. damnthem 2hell!

and all this time i thought the botz at the captcha checkout could block the frequencies using them newfangled frequency-blockers.

If I read correctly (just scanned the posting on it) it's configurable so that different user levels can have different frequencies set so that established users could run effectively uncapped and new users could be throttled down extremely low.
