so had a good day at midway today. was nice to see the ninjamidget in action. i had fun in the tire arena game with a 3 vs 6 consisting of 3man team of kyle, ray, and another speedball dude against the rest of Hellfire. It was fun even if kyle went running outside the arena for some unexplained reason!ha ha. anyways great day. laugh.gif

Sorry I missed you guys, I was planning on coming up to shoot at ya today but it was raining pretty well down here when I was looking to leave and long wet rides to/from the field really suck the fun out of the day. How was the turn out?

no worries lee. its understandable to not want to ride in the rain. the turnout today was 7 out of 8 hellfire and 5 hellfire friends. also ninja midget and his friend, so the count was 14. not too bad considering the weather conditions. next Hellfire excursion to midway is the 26th if you wanna join us.

Hellfire isnt your usual "renters". heh heh you did a good job though little man.

No, you don't you just think you do ... who are you anyway? I remember this guy once, at paintball, he stuck a .... blink.gif
Seriously though, Dave, when this speedball thing gonna slow down so we can shoot each other again? We lack leadership nowadays, it's sad, we get together snd roam aimlessly about the field, even the new guy tags us 'cause we just wander blank faced trying to remember what the plan was ... OK, not so seriously then rolleyes.gif

moral - get back in the woods mister!

I still love the bush, and playing a scenario is completely different tactically than playing speedball or rec ball where you've got manageable numbers. BUT speedball is cheaper for a day of play and I get to play with a great crew on a regular basis so the bush isn't getting alot of time right now.

bush ball all year round for me. if i want a speedball fix ill go in the tire arena. heh heh. just my opinion. besides....all i have is my camo and black markers. if i went to speedball i would have to get a yellow gun, pink mask and rainbow colored jersey and be able to shoot 35-40 balls a second!! ha ha. like i said, just my opinion. smile.gif smile.gif

On a per day of play basis I'm actually paying $50-60.00/day for practices and scrim days. Recball I'm spending $80-$140.00 and Scenario days I'll spend typically $220-400.00/day. If I play strictly Pump or Outlaw I'll be looking at roughly the same per-day as I do for practices. Bear in mind that I was playing an average of 4 out of 5 weeks all year last year and REALLY REALLY don't want to do the actual math on how much I spent on field fees, paint, etc.

Paul is working on that for me, the beastie should be a little subtler next time you see it.

And yeah, I'll pull off the occasional flank, but my signature approach tends to be "Wear bright head wear and run headlong through incoming fire" *laugh*
