I've got a pure energy 3000/48 steelie.
Been sitting for a year or so... Any chance this thing has rust inside?

I highly doubt it. You can always take the reg off and take a peek with a flashlight to make sure.

Unless I'm mistaken, the tanks themselves are not actually made from steel, and the name 'steelie' is a misnomer. They are in fact made of aluminum and therefore are incapable of rusting in the traditional sense, form an oxidized layer maybe but not rust. Completely off topic, did you get into the welding program this time around kane?

They actually might be made of aluminum actually... I think i heard that somewere. Thanks man, now I just need a new hopper
I didn't actually. I went in for the Auto mechanics thing in CR's NIC. I figure why not take a hobby that I'm good at already, and make money from it too, lol.
Starts in September.
So that means less time at work, more time at the feild on the weekends
