Hey Josh. You can call me and we will work things out for you. Cap for the major games is 300 players. 220 presale tickets and then I keep 80 for walkups and players who cannot get to the stores because they are out of town. We'd love to see you guys again - Red Dawn II was a good time, and this upcoming game will be even better. The main field has entry / respawn points that are widely separated - with air fills at each staging area.

Check out paintballer.ca for some pics and video from past games. Also check out www.tippmannchallenge.com which has three great vids done by our media team.

I don't get it. The cold war paintball is you stand around with your finger above a button threatening to nuke the other players?

Haha, looks fun!

We will have specific hit rules for grenades, and we might even have a special weapon for use against ... vehicles. We shall see.

With regards to prizes, I have the following in the raffle for March 15 already!

- Proto Matrix 8
- Tippmann A5 with metal tubular stock, MP5 SD shroud, and CA metal hose through mag
- Tippmann X7
- CCI Phantom
- Warsensor G2+ with holster rig
- Vforce Grill

More details to come. Get ready for the North Koreans and Chicoms vs the South Koreans and US forces!

As soon as I have some disposable funds, I'll be signing up for all 3 events; Missed RD2 because of employment issues. Gotta get a few paychecks' buffer going first.

Very cool if you can join us Cockerbeatsmag (you don't know how hard it is for me to type yer name... being a mag user and all).

Launchers - Matt911 has indicated in the past that they are OK. I believe he wanted indirect fire launchers or Sabot style paintball filled dixie cups (or whatever you elect to make your cup or expanding cup sabot from). I recall he also wanted to inspect the launcher for safety (FPS etc)... pm him to confirm.

kinda creepy, but i think i may be the only attendee who was actually IN the cold war. i was stationed in lahr, west germany for 4 years between 1982 and 1986. personally, i didn't sit near a button, we; 4cmbg (the 4th canadian mechanized brigade group) spent most of our time driving around in apc's (armoured personelle carriers - m113's) and leopard c1 (main battle tanks). 2 of the years i was posted overseas i actually was an armoured crewman (driver) rolling happily along at speed manouvering 45 tons of fun! too bad i couldn't scoop 1 for the scenario game eh matt?

the other 2 years? blowing stuff up with the 105mm rifled cannon of course! does that sound like fun? well if that doesn't turn your crank, what about joining in as an infantryman for the day in the biggest m.i.l.e.s (laser tag) battle known to man: reforger (return of forces to germany). yep, about 100,000 soldiers all attacking the same way - towards a huge treeline dotted with artillery, mortars, infantry, armoured elements of the german bundeswehr, a-10 warthogs and apaches flying overhead............

hope this pumps 'em up matt!

Hmmm... I was onboard the HMCS Iroquois and later the Huron in that time period as a young LS. Not as much fun as the diesel and mud that the grunts got to play with but still pretty tense times.

77 tickets presold so far, with many more to come. Reminder to all players that I cannot hold tickets as I did for Red Dawn 2 without payment, as there will be many walkups that want tickets and I can only have so many. I believe we will see Stormin and Tom out for the game, amongst the Island Militia and other Islanders.

Raffle prizes are posted and I hope to hit 10 guns in it, plus all the extras of course (masks, pants, etc etc).

Tickets now at both PBL stores, plus paintballgear.ca and Tactical Command Supply!

Matt / TPG
