Try creating a post and then editing it more then once.
Your previous edits/ addtional content added is lost.

Example.

First post created.

"I like eating hotdogs."

First Edit

"I like eating hotdogs."
"With Mustard"

NOW go to make a Third Edit and you only see:

"I like eating hotdogs."

On your third edit you have to retype:

"With Mustard"

Then add your additional content.

"And Relish"

Also if you go to add more content on a fourth edit you are back to:

"I like eating hotdogs."

So, something is kind of wierd. Updates are needed? Refresh needed?

It won't be a Mac vs. PC issue, it's likely a screen refresh issue. It's a pretty odd issue though as when you open a new page it *should* pull whatever the current content of the message is to populate the editing window. Very weird issue, if I could reproduce it consistently I'd be tempted to rip open a copy of the boards software and figure out why it's doing that.

SW

ps: I'm a software dev incase you didn't guess.

It could be a browser thing.

IE 6.0 on XP

I never had this issue on my MacBook.
I refresh after I edit as well.

I choose edit post/full edit.

I tend to go back and add content 4-6 times in the same post in a span of five minutes so ya - kinda wierd to see hic-ups for the first time.
I could try updating to the latest IE I guess.

Yes I concur, it may be a browser thing, have you erased your cookies? Do you have shaw or telus, I mean there could be so many things, try reducing the possible issues by working on them one by one...

It was a browser issue. Now that I have my MacBook back everything is honky dory fine.
I guess IE 6.0 just doesn't cut it with this current rev of the board.
