I've heard the talks of you guys opening up a 5th field/map.
I was just curious when it was slated to open up?
Also if theres gonna be anything special going on for when it opens up?
Is there going to be more or less dense bush than the frontier?
I understand if you guys wanna keep it a surprise or whatnot, but i'm curious about it and stoked for a new battleground

Shhh! It's all hush, hush. Actually it's not. The new field currently has 23 (I think) man made buildings. Exterior finishs will be applied during the next month approximately and then we will need to put up netting to keep stray balls from our driveway. We're not sure when the opening date will be , but at the very latest, it should be open for West Coast Pump Weekend, 2008 (WCPW '08) on the long weekend in August. The bush is more dense than Broken Hills (our frontier field) or at least it is now. After it's been played for a few years, it will no doubt be less dense. It will be more like a ficticious WWII battle theme, so if anyone wants to come up with a good name, that would be cool. We were thinking of the Citadel (haha, just kidding).

awesome! i'll be out there for the pump weekend! How is it size wise in comparison to the other fields?
How about calling it something like checkpoint charlie (dividing point of east and west berlin at the end of WWII/the cold war)?

Id just wait and see once you get to play it. With the dense bush it feels bigger than it actually is. I can tell you that its bigger than grogs, and smaller than frontier. I personally am really looking forward to this field.

lol i just have a hard time waiting/anticipating. I was always the type of kid to sneak a peek of the chrismast presents well before christmas haha. But i think i've foun out enough to keep me happy for now

Its definately a field worth waiting for, Ive been keeping track of its progress when I come back to town, and its definately going to be very unique, and some of the terrain on that field is wicked aswell.

You should name it "The Promised Land" or "King's Castle" or Matt's the best guy ever or whatever but your not calling it "Speckled Forest"...Right?
