First of all, thanks to Peter, Pete and all the staff of Victoria Paintball for a great day today. The weather was absolutely perfect for playing paintball as well. The new field improvements look great. For anyone who's played at Victoria before the big renovation you'll notice huge changes right away. Anybody who's never been to Victoria Paintball before will be impressed as soon as you arrive. It's obvious that the guys at VPA have put a lot of work into the field in the last year. The staging area is completely covered over all the tables and benches. There's ample parking there which is right next to the staging area so if you have a metric ton of gear, you don't have to walk far with it.

Here's a gallery of pictures from today. Some are just showing the new improvements to the field so you can get a sneak peek at what they've got going on there. The rest are action shots of the fine lads and lasses who were out there today.

Just a quick note that video is up. I've tried hosting with Google Video this time instead of YouTube to see if the quality would be any better. If it is, it's marginally so. I have a bit more footage from VicPB, but I don't know if it'll be enough to edit into something interesting.

Very cool. How was the new CCM working for you?

The photos look great. Especially that blue karne.
Talked to Peter after the game said it was a good day.
Glad you guys had fun. I'm sorry I left to play speedball.
Next time I will be there.
Good to see that some of the regulers have thawed out and made it out.

A video of the Alamo game is now uploaded. It does seem that Google video is a better bet than YouTube. The "shotgun" videos you seek are here and here.

VPA is looking GOOD.
Nice improvement on the staging area.

I love the use of house oil tanks for bunkers - creative!
